Job summary

Prime Healthcare Olympia Field Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation unit. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) offers direct patient care in a Med/Surg/Telemetry setting and requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 30 days, and ventilator management experience.

The role emphasizes rapid assessment and coordination with physicians, patient/family education, and adherence to standards of care in a dynamic hospital environment with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit.
• Direct patient care within scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
