Job summary

The Registered Nurse in Telemetry at Prime Healthcare Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, is scheduled for Full Time Days, 7:00am - 7:30pm, 3-12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, utilizing the nursing process, and guiding patient/family teaching while coordinating with physicians on clinical changes. BLS and ACLS are required; BSN is preferred.

Sign-on bonus available up to $10,000 for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate current upon hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or equivalent certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Acute Care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and staff activities.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with the physician.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment.

Education

Current and valid state RN License

BLS certificate

ACLS certificate

Ventilator Management experience

RN-BC or similar certification

BSN degree preferred

Acute Care hospital experience preferred
