Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago seeks a Registered Nurse for Acute Telemetry, delivering safe patient care on 12-hour night shifts. You will use the nursing process, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians on changes in patient condition.

Requires active RN license; BLS and ACLS preferred; BSN preferred for advancement. Eligibility for a sign-on bonus is available; full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state.
• BLS (AHA) certification on hire and maintained.
• BSN preferred for the role.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physician about changes in patient condition and test results.
