Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit to deliver safe patient care using the nursing process. You will provide direct patient care, guide patient and family teaching, and supervise other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care.

Collaboration with physicians is essential for monitoring, diagnostic results, and treatment responses. This full-time night-shift role offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition and respond quickly to changes in condition.
