Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• RN-BC or similar certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process in the Telemetry Unit.
• Directs patient/family teaching and guides nursing staff while maintaining standards of care.
• Communicates changes in patient condition to the physician, including cardiac monitoring and test results.
• Responsive to changes in condition and treatment responses.
