Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on the night shift. You will deliver high-quality patient care, perform assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with the care team while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in state of practice or Compact RN license.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
