Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery on the Night shift. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN License; must meet State Board requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association; may be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
