Job summary

As a Staff RN, you will deliver care per Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document care, and participate in education and discharge planning. Mount Carmel East provides comprehensive services and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage patient care and delegate to the care team.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients using evidence-based practice.
• Administer medications under provider direction following policies.
• Respond to emergencies as needed.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and diagnoses.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Ensure care is provided and documented by others as appropriate.
