Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Dublin, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 12-hour night shift (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with rotating weekends/holidays at our Mount Carmel Dublin facility.

The RN will provide care per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating in a team to meet patients’ physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs, using the Nursing Process within organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience.
• New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives.
• Assesses and evaluates care with an assigned patient group and develops a care plan with patient/family.
• Communicates pertinent information to the team in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately in line with policies.
• Exercises accountability for care provided by others as appropriate.
