Job summary

Mount Carmel is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts across our Emergency Departments at Mount Carmel East, Mount Carmel St. Ann's, Mount Carmel Grove City, and the Free-Standing ED at Mount Carmel Lewis Center.

Within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, the RN will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold high standards of safety and quality. Excellent benefits and opportunities for residency programs are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing program or equivalent.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• Casual RNs require 2 years of experience; new grads may enroll in Nurse Residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care with emphasis on patient safety and evidence-based practice.
• Assess and plan care with patient and family, including physical, spiritual and educational components.
• Communicate timely and accurately with the care team and patient/family.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes per policy and guidelines.
