Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on our hospital unit. Under the direction of the Nursing leadership, you will utilize the nursing process to plan, coordinate, and provide comprehensive care to admitted patients.

Responsibilities include discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. ACLS within 90 days; BLS current; prior inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Charge Nurses must have ACLS.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, direct, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned and required.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
