PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient medical-surgical unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Director of Nursing, or Nurse Manager, you will deliver, direct and supervise nursing care for admitted patients.

You will plan and coordinate care, support discharge planning, educate patients and families for post-hospitalization, and access community resources. ACLS and BLS certifications are required, with ACLS within 90 days; charge nurse duties may be

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides; compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources as needed.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties.
