Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift, full-time position. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, the RN delivers and supervises patient care on the unit, coordinates discharge planning, and provides education to patients and families.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. Inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold active RN licensure in the state where hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and discharge patients and educate patients and families.
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning and community resource access; may serve as Charge Nurse (ACLS required).
