Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care within the nursing unit. Under the direction of Nursing leadership, you will plan, coordinate, and provide patient care, including discharge planning and patient education, with ACLS for potential Charge Nurse duties.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where hospital resides (or compact licensure)
• Current BLS certification is required
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families post-hospitalization and connect to community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
