Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on our nursing unit in a hospital setting. Under leadership, you will plan, coordinate and provide comprehensive care including discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospital needs.

Requirements include an active RN license, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. One year of inpatient med-surg experience is preferred. ACLS may be required for Charge Nurse duties.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Charge Nurses require ACLS certification.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and connect to community resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities.
