AdventHealth in Aurora, CO seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for night shift. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families while coordinating with the healthcare team.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), active RN license, and BLS certification, with 1+ year acute care experience preferred. Night shift, full-time, with AdventHealth values and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular evaluation.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure communication.
• Document patient information, care activities, and outcomes accurately.
• Monitor and adjust care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care within the team.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations and provide stabilizing interventions.
