Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, compassionate care.
Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing with RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications. Prior acute care experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1+ year in acute care hospital setting preferred.
- RN license required.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and continually evaluate and revise them.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
