Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Must be fluent in English; strong teamwork and communication.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and patient assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological and sociocultural factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and reassess as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and adherence.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and maintain effective communication.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care by team members and delegate tasks as appropriate.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and provide necessary interventions.
