Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO seeks a Registered Nurse for a part-time, day-shift role. You will assess patients, plan and deliver care, administer medications, educate families, and ensure documentation is accurate and timely to support safe, effective treatment.

Qualifications

RN license in Colorado is required.
BLS certification is required.
Associate Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
Maintain timely documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
