Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an RN license and an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), with BLS certification.

Qualifications

Organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities required.
Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
Ability to work as a team player within a unit.
Effective verbal and written communication required.
Fluency in English (read, verbal and written).
Basic computer skills to navigate Windows programs.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising them.
Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Coordinate care with medical staff to optimize outcomes and ensure clear communication.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
Respond to code situations and provide necessary interventions.
