Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare seeks an Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

You will lead and mentor STNAs, develop individualized care plans, and participate in ongoing quality improvement to enhance resident outcomes. English proficiency and Kentucky RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of residents.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treating wounds, and performing various medical procedures.
• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned STNAs, ensuring they provide high-quality care to residents.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes or concerns to the Nurse Supervisor and/or Unit Manager.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve overall care quality.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
