Lionstone Healthcare in Wellston, OH seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care, administer medications, and oversee STNAs. You will develop care plans with a multi-disciplinary team and conduct daily rounds to ensure high-quality care.

Strong communication and leadership are essential to coordinate with families and staff. The role requires current RN licensure in Ohio, English proficiency, and knowledge of nursing best practices and regulations.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and regulations for nursing care facilities.
• Leadership and supervisory capability and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and wound care.
• Supervise and direct activities of STNAs to ensure high-quality care.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans with other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure high-quality care and identify improvements.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to Nurse Supervisor/Unit Manager.
• Maintain accurate resident records and progress notes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve care quality.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, treating wounds, and performing various medical procedures.




• Supervise and direct the activities of assigned STNAs, ensuring that they provide high-quality care to residents.




• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.




• Conduct daily rounds to ensure that residents are receiving high-quality care and to identify any areas for improvement.

Requirements:
