Job summary

MediLodge is seeking a Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor Registered Nurse (NATP) to coach and mentor the next generation of Certified Nursing Assistants. The candidate should have at least one year of experience in long-term care and an active RN license, with Train-the-Trainer certification for NATP preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BS degree preferred.
• RN license required; NATP Train-the-Trainer certification preferred; CPR teaching certificate if applicable.
• Three years of nursing experience, including one year in long-term care; instructor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of learning principles and training techniques; ability to develop training programs.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, implement and evaluate the Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Provide hands-on clinical orientation and instruction to unlicensed personnel.
• Conduct certification or training programs for Nursing Assistants.
• Monitor employee performance and ensure compliance training and documentation.
• Assist in department budgeting and ensure curriculum meets regulatory requirements.
