Job summary

MediLodge Michigan North is seeking a Regional Nurse Aide Training Program Instructor NATP to lead and coordinate the Nurse Aide Training Program across the region. The role focuses on delivering high-quality education that supports resident-centered care in a long-term care setting.

The position requires an RN license (BSN preferred), NATP Train-the-Trainer certification, and CPR teaching credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN license is required for Nursing Home settings.
• Certification as Train-the-Trainer for NATP is required.
• CPR teaching certificate, if applicable.
• BS degree preferred.
• Current with state CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the regional Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate training curricula for nursing staff.
• Ensure documentation for training complies with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Provide hands-on clinical orientation to unlicensed personnel and new employees.
• Monitor staff performance and address compliance issues.
• Assist in department budgeting and resource planning.
• Coordinate OSHA/Risk Management documentation and in-service programs.
