Description:The position requires a minimum of two years of nursing experience.First-timers are not accepted.The patient population includes adults to geriatrics.The unit typically manages a ratio of 1 nurse to 5-6 patients and has 16 beds.Candidates must have experience with various advanced skills, including managing ports and administering chemotherapy and blood products.Knowledge of central line blood draws and care for chest tubes, colostomy/ileostomy management is also required.Applicants should have experience in telemetry monitoring and the management of hemodialysis pre/post procedures.The role includes working every other weekend unless otherwise specified.Candidates may be required to float within their scope of practice as needed.Work on holidays is expected if they fall within the assignment period, following specific guidelines.Full compliance is required to start on time; any delays may affect the schedule.The clinical fit will be assessed through a review process.
