Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an RN with MS training for a 13-week travel assignment in Abilene, TX. The role requires an active nursing license, 2+ years of experience, and BLS/NIHSS certifications. • Comply with mandatory drug screen and complete lab items within 72 hours.

Description:The unit is focused on orthopedic and general surgery patients.Nurses will float within like units and possibly to sister campuses.Registered nurses must possess strong clinical skills.Nurses will be responsible for patient assessments and care planning.The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 5:1.Daily census is about 20 patients.The unit supports interdisciplinary care including IV teams and physical therapy.Candidates should have skills in various nursing procedures.Experience with charting systems is preferred.Travel experience is also strongly preferred.Candidates must pass a mandatory drug screen upon arrival.Positive results will lead to automatic cancellation.Careful consideration should be given to medications and products used before arrival.Clinicians must compete needed lab items within 72 hours of accepting the offer.Orientation includes modules that are non-billable, typically requiring 6-8 hours to complete.
