Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU team at Christiana Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit. This full-time flex schedule includes 36 hours per week with night shifts and day shift rotations, on site in a high-acuity environment.

You will deliver expert care to critically ill patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and use advanced monitoring and treatment to improve outcomes. BSN required.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to improve outcomes.
