Job summary

ChristianaCare's Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) seeks a Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting at Christiana Hospital. This full-time flex schedule (36 hrs/week) includes night shifts with day rotations, offering opportunities to sharpen critical care skills.

You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and use advanced monitoring to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years).
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
