Boston Medical Center (BMC) invites you to join our Magnet-recognized nursing team as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical (General) - M6E unit. This 36-hour night schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays, offering growth in a mission-driven environment.

You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in quality initiatives while developing professionally in a supportive setting with extensive training opportunities.

Competenze

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification required in certain units
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
• Fluency in another language a plus

Mansioni

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
• Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
• Update and manage patient records
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
