Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Post-Op unit (M4W). The RN will provide patient-centered care on a 36-hour weekly schedule, with night shifts and occasional weekends. Join a Magnet-recognized organization committed to equitable, high-quality care.

On this 4 West 46-bed unit, you will grow professionally through certifications, unit-based practice councils, and ongoing training, while delivering evidence-based care to diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Follow unit policies and participate in quality improvement.
