Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (RN/LVN license required)
• 2-3 years related experience; leadership experience 0-1 year
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and problem-solve
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation practices

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations to ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards (CMS, DMHC, DHCS, NCQA)
• Provide oversight of nursing activities and back-up support as needed
• Align productivity and quality metrics with department goals
• Conduct regular audits, provide coaching, and implement corrective actions
• Guide staff on complex clinical issues and escalation
• Support policy/procedure development and training material preparation
• Communicate job expectations and performance, coaching staff as needed
• Participate in AI initiatives to improve operations and member service
• Contribute to achieving SCAN's Vision and Goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
