RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-II at Jersey City Medical Center. This part-time day shift role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive, safety-focused environment.

You will perform patient assessments, administer medications, coordinate with physicians, educate patients and families, and maintain accurate EMR documentation to ensure high-quality care and smooth transitions.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
Administer medications and provide hands-on care with sound clinical judgment.
Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for timely care decisions.
Educate patients and families to support informed care decisions.
Document accurately in the electronic medical record for continuity.
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to improve communication and transitions.
