Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based policies and standards.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and the health care team.
• Medication administration using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Point-of-Care electronic documentation of assessments, plans, interventions and evaluation.
• Patient and family education to optimize health and disease management.
• Discharging patients to ensure safe transitions and continuity of care.
