Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical-Telemetry unit (6B), a 23-bed team specializing in post-cardiac interventions, medical cardiology, chemotherapy, and post-procedural care.

The RN provides direct patient care, coordinates admissions, transfers, discharges, and offers patient and family education, while following evidence-based nursing practices and department policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia training as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the 6B med/surg/telemetry unit (>50% time).
• Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge activities.
• Deliver patient- and family-centered education and care coordination.
• Support individualized treatment planning and clinical decision-making.
