Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Med/Surg Telemetry on DAYS; a 22-bed unit caring for general medical-surgical and telemetry patients including pneumonia, stroke, CHF, and post-op cases.

The RN will perform nursing process, assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation under supervision, ensuring adherence to policies and patient-centered care, with collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Completion of BLS.
• ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) within 6 months of hire.
• NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
• Successful completion of all competencies as identified on the departmental nurse competency grid.
• BLS Required

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care and utilizes the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Delivers care with clinical decision-making and critical thinking while adhering to policies and procedures.
• Delegates nursing activities and supervises care to ensure delivery of safe, competent nursing care.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support healing, wellness and patient-centered outcomes.
