Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a 22-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The role focuses on general medical-surgical and telemetry patients with diverse co-morbidities and complex care needs in a fast-paced setting.

You will apply the nursing process, perform assessments, provide direct patient care, and ensure policy adherence while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This position offers full-time hours and benefits that support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure or temporary Kentucky work permit.
• Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS.
• ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) within 6 months of hire.
• NIHSS within 3 months of hire.
• Competencies as identified on the departmental nurse competency grid.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and identification of patient needs and interventions.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and supervision of staff.
• Adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
• Application of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation.
