Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a registered nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit. The nurse coordinates care planning with other disciplines, supervises staff, and evaluates nursing practice to achieve patient goals.

The role includes hourly rounding, adherence to safety guidelines, and potential charge responsibilities for shifts as assigned. ARIZONA RN licensure, CPR, and unit-specific ACLS/PALS/NRP requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Arizona RN license; CPR. ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP requirements vary by unit and must be obtained within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data analysis.
• Set practical, realistic patient outcome goals with patient/family input.
• Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs and circumstantial/procedural factors.
• Implement nursing and medical orders and ensure they match current patient status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
