Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning with other disciplines and supervise other staff as needed, applying the nursing process and assessing patient needs throughout care.

Involvement in hourly rounding and shift leadership may occur. Requirements include an Arizona RN license, CPR, ACLS as applicable, and specialty training.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
• L&D only: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire
• Two years of Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determines nursing diagnoses from assessment data.
• Sets patient outcome goals with input from patient and family.
• Individualizes plan of care based on needs.
• Implements orders and ensures appropriateness for current status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital
