Job summary

Abrazo West Campus seeks a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines and directing patient care with independent judgement. The role includes evaluating outcomes and guiding staff to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Arizona RN license with CPR; ACLS as applicable by facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnosis based on patient assessment and data analysis.
• Set practical, realistic patient outcome goals with input from patient and family.
• Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs and circumstantial/procedural factors.
• Implement nursing and medical orders ensuring appropriateness to patient status.
• Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
