Medical City Dallas is seeking an RN for Med/Surg Tele on a PRN basis to cover night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborating with the care team to improve patient outcomes and the nursing profession.

You will administer medications, monitor patients, document care, and educate patients and families while upholding established standards of practice and the hospital's values.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate's Degree okay to start, Bachelor's Degree required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• 1 year acute care experience in area/unit highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
