Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our day shift coverage (7:00 am – 7:00 pm). You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians and the care team to support safe outcomes.

This role emphasizes compassionate, personalized care and adherence to established nursing models. You will assess patients on admission and each shift, administer medications, document care, respond to requests, and educate patients and families about treatment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associate's Degree required, BSN within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current TX RN license or compact license; active BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor therapy, and document care in medical records.
• Respond to patient requests with proactive care and educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions and treatments.
