Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Tele in a PRN capacity, covering night shifts (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborate with the care team to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessment on admission and each shift, medication administration, prompt response to patient needs, and patient education for conditions and plan. Join a respected team in a high-volume hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Associate's Degree acceptable with Bachelor's within 24 months of hire.
• Current TX RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• 1 year acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
