Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the 9A Medical-Surgical unit in Illinois. The unit handles medically complex patients with a 1:5 (sometimes 1:6) nurse-to-patient ratio and a fast-paced environment that emphasizes teamwork. External applicants may qualify for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, IV care, wound care, and collaboration with the care team to develop and execute patient care plans with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) - Illinois requirements.
• Associate's Degree or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial assessments and develops care plans.
• Administers medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborates with care team to ensure safe patient care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and safety standards.
• Delivers patient and family education and support.
