Job summary

Essentia Health Duluth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg unit at Miller Dwan. This 0.75 FTE position offers 12-hour shifts with day/night rotation and every third weekend.

The RN will lead care planning and coordinate with nursing staff, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards. Minnesota licensure and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• MN RN licensure required or eligible for Minnesota licensure.
• BCLS certification within one month of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with capstone/internship experience on Med/Surg.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Serve as team leader and delegate duties to nursing staff per licensure and job descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and applicable regulatory standards.
