Job summary

Essentia Health Duluth's Med/Surg unit is seeking an RN to provide care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will lead a team, delegate tasks to licensed staff, and contribute to the facility's mission in Duluth, Minnesota.

The role is 0.75 FTE with 12-hour day/night rotations, every third weekend, offering a shift rotation and broad benefits, including tuition reimbursement and wellness programs. Join a community-focused hospital by Lake Superior.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
• BCLS certification within one month
• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing with completion of EHD Med/Surg capstone or internship

Education Qualifications: What you'll get to do in this role: You will be in charge of organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. You will get to be a team leader and delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. You will be part of something bigger as you will contribute to meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and in turn serve the community in which you live. You will meet the requirements of the Joint Commission as applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. This position will work the following: 0.75 FTE 12 Hour Shifts Day/Night Rotation Every third weekend

Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Current nursing licensure in Minnesota Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing with completion of EHD Med/Surg capstone or internship

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to: ADN: $7,500 BSN: $10,000
