Job summary

Essentia Health’s Virginia Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the MED SURG team. The role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care in a rural Minnesota community, with a 0.6 FTE Evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and every other weekend rotation.

Qualified candidates hold Minnesota RN licensure, BSN or ADN, and BCLS certification within one month. A hiring incentive of up to $7,500 (ADN) or $10,000 (BSN) may apply.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to licensed nursing personnel as appropriate.
• Contribute to the facility's mission and meet regulatory requirements.
• Support shift operations during 3:00 PM–11:30 PM evenings and alternating weekends.
