Job summary

Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a MDS Coordinator - RN to oversee timely and accurate completion of the MDS assessment, review care plans, and ensure compliance with high standards of care at our nursing centers.

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with RN licensure; LPNs with MDS experience may be considered. At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is required. We offer comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure (LPNs with MDS experience may be considered).
• One year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to maximize allowable RUG categories.
• Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation and physician services for reimbursement.
