Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking an MDS Nurse -- RN to oversee Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation and reimbursement processes. The role focuses on accurate MDS scheduling, timely submissions, and optimizing RUG categories through clinical data capture.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, have long-term care experience, and demonstrate familiarity with MDS, case management, and reimbursement workflows. BLS/CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• One year of long-term care clinical nursing experience required.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS completion, and case management is desirable.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage the MDS nurse processes and tracking for Medicare/Medicaid case-mix reimbursement.
• Maintain an accurate schedule of MDS assessments and ensure timely submission across patient stays.
• Perform concurrent MDS reviews to optimize RUGs categorization and reimbursement opportunities.
• Communicate case-mix data required for billing and serve as the nursing center resource for MDS/RUGs education.
