Job summary

Aston Group in Florida is seeking a skilled RN MDS Coordinator to lead resident assessments and care planning in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

You will coordinate MDS 3.0 assessments, monitor regulatory requirements, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize care and reimbursement. RN licensed professionals with LTC experience are encouraged to apply; we offer training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of employment.
MDS Coordinator experience preferred; training considered for strong nurses.
Solid understanding of state and federal long-term care regulations.
Minimum two years of clinical nursing in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care.
Willingness to learn MDS 3.0 and care plan development.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee MDS 3.0 assessments for timely submissions.
Develop individualized care plans to drive quality outcomes and compliance.
Monitor Medicare and Medicaid requirements; initiate coverage or notifications as needed.
Support nursing staff development and ensure optimal care delivery standards.
Collaborate with leadership to maximize resident care reimbursement and operational goals.
