Job summary

Aston Group is seeking an experienced MDS Director (RN) to lead the MDS coordination in our Florida skilled nursing facility. This full-time, on-site role requires an RN with a strong background in MDS, PDPM, RAI, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee the MDS process, guide the interdisciplinary team in care planning, optimize reimbursements under PDPM, and ensure state and federal documentation standards are met while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MDS Lead or MDS Director.
• In-depth knowledge of PDPM, care planning and RAI process.
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the MDS process to ensure accuracy and timely submissions.
• Lead the interdisciplinary team in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Monitor reimbursement optimization under PDPM.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal documentation requirements.
• Educate and support facility staff on MDS protocols.
